A cover that tells readers what to expect
We design covers that signal your genre at a glance, stay legible as a tiny thumbnail, and carry through to a full print wrap with spine and back cover ready for your printer.

A cover is a promise about the reading experience, so it has to be an honest one.
Designed for the shelf and the screen
Readers decide in seconds whether a book is for them, and most first see your cover as a small image beside a dozen others. Genre is read through color, imagery and type long before anyone reads the title. A thriller that looks like a cozy mystery attracts the wrong readers and quietly disappoints the right ones.
We start with your book: its genre, tone, comparable titles and the readers you want to reach. From there we develop initial concepts, refine your chosen direction through rounds of feedback, and build the final artwork as a front cover for eBook stores and a full wrap for print, sized to your trim and page count.
One book, one clear idea
A strong cover makes a single promise to the right reader. Here is the thinking behind a few of our original designs.
Original cover designs from our studio-
01 · Fantasy
The Sea Witch: Part 1
by Nicole M Cucinotta
Storm light and a deep violet palette frame a coven at sea, with a series marker built in for the books that follow.
-
02 · Christian Nonfiction
The Servant King
by Khaliyl A. Dixon
A crown of thorns in gritty monochrome and a mustard-gold title make a weighty subject feel bold and contemporary.
-
03 · Typographic Cover
Dear Wine
Pure black, clean white type and a single red bottle standing in for the letter “i”: one idea, executed with restraint.
-
04 · Children’s
The Adventures of the Princess Sisters
by Quentin Whiteman
Painterly characters on a charcoal ground, with pink and gold lettering, give an early-reader adventure warmth and sparkle.
-
05 · Literary
Growing Pains
by Unique D. Portugal
A quiet sage palette and a head sculpted from tree roots carry the theme of growth with a light, minimal touch.
Designed for the reader’s eye
Every genre has its own visual language. We design within it, so the right readers recognize your book at a glance.
Original cover designs from our studioWhat you gain with book cover design
We design covers that signal your genre at a glance, stay legible as a tiny thumbnail, and carry through to a full print wrap with spine and back cover ready for your printer.
Clear genre signals
Color palette, imagery and type choices are measured against current covers in your category, so readers browsing that shelf recognize your book as one of theirs.
Legible at thumbnail size
We test every concept at the size of a search result on a phone. If the title or central image blurs into noise, we simplify until it reads instantly.
Typography with intent
Title and author name are set as part of the design, not added on top. Typeface, weight and spacing do as much genre work as the imagery does.
Imagery you can use
We explain whether your cover uses licensed stock photography or commissioned custom art, what each license allows, and keep the records you need for print runs and future editions.
Everything in the brief
The exact scope is confirmed in writing before work begins, so you always know what you are paying for.

Four clear steps
- 1
Cover brief
You tell us about the book, its readers and covers you admire. We study your category and agree on a clear creative direction.
- 2
Concepts
We present distinct cover concepts, each shown at full size and as a thumbnail, with a short note on the thinking behind it.
- 3
Refine
You choose a direction and we refine imagery, color and type through the agreed revision rounds until the front cover feels right.
- 4
Full wrap
Once your page count is final, we build the spine and back cover to your printer's template and deliver print and digital files.
Each project includes a set number of initial concepts and revision rounds, agreed in writing before work starts. If you want more exploration or a further round of changes, we tell you what that adds before doing it, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Stock photography can work well for thrillers, romance and nonfiction, and it keeps costs down, though other books may share the same image. Custom illustration suits fantasy, children's books and anything needing a specific scene. We explain the license terms either way.
Spine width depends on the number of pages and the paper stock your printer uses. We design the front cover first, then complete the spine and back once your interior is final, so the wrap fits the printer's template exactly.
Yes. For a series we establish shared elements, such as a title treatment, layout grid and color system, that carry across every book while each cover keeps its own image. Planning this at book one saves redesigning later.
Cost depends mainly on whether the cover uses stock imagery or custom illustration, and whether you need an eBook cover only or a full print wrap. We quote after the brief, along with an estimated schedule from first concepts to final files.
